Confirmation letters are usually created based on a Microsoft Word template. You need to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word to be able to change the logo on these templates.
The steps
below are provided to quickly change the logo in the Microsoft Word templates
that are used by PMPRO. They are not intended to make any other changes
to the other contents of these documents. Do not change anything else
or you risk that the letter does not correctly insert PMPRO data anymore.
Follow the next steps to change the logo:
Close all programs.
Right click on the Amadeus - PMPRO icon that you normally use to start Amadeus - PMPRO .
Choose 'Properties' and click on the Find Target button (Window XP) or Open File Location button (Windows Vista and higher). You are now in the \PMS folder.
Open the \DOT folder. This folder contains all Microsoft Word letter templates. PMPRO uses templates with a .doc and/or a .dot file extension.
Right click a Microsoft Word document and choose 'Open' (do not double click nor choose 'New'). The document opens in Word.
Remove the current logo and insert your new logo. Refer to the online help from Microsoft Word for more information about inserting an image in your document.
Save the changes and close the document.
Repeat step 5 to 7 for each Word document in the \DOT folder.
