Function keys

Function keys (also referred to as access keys, accelerator keys and shortcut keys) are keys or key combinations that, when pressed, provide quick access to frequently used functionalities. A shortcut key is a keyboard equivalent of a function that can be reached by scrolling through the menus or by pressing the mouse on an item. Generally, using shortcut keys is much faster than using the mouse.
