Corporate accounts are used to link the revenue of multiple contacts to one. For example, you may get business from a company that has offices in every state/province of your country, with reservations being made for the separate offices during the year. If you would like to view statistics for the company as a whole, you can either sum the revenue of each office manually, or link the offices' contact profiles to a corporate account. You can link a corporate account to each contact.

Corporate Accounts from the
Setup » Contacts menu.
