This option lists all available guest languages. It is currently not possible to add or change other guest languages. A language must be specified in the contact details of each guest and can be used to print (confirmation) letters and folio's in the guest's language. To use different guest languages, you must also translate the description of each configurable item, such as room types, room numbers, products, etc. in the set-up.
Choose Languages from the Setup » Contacts menu.

Code |
A unique alpha-numeric code of up to 3 characters. The code can be used for the user set-up. Do NOT change the code once the code has already been used. This will have the same effect as deleting a language, as explained above. |
Number |
A unique numeric code of up to 2 characters. The numeric code is for internal use only. |
Description |
A description of up to 25 characters that can be entered in multiple languages. The description can be printed on reports. |
Sequence |
A numeric code of up to 2 characters. To activate a language, the sequence number should be the same as the 'Number'. To deactivate a language, change the sequence to 99. Deactivated languages are not available for contact profiles or for translating configurable items. Do not disable English, as this is also used as a system language! |
Defined languages can be printed from the Reports » System menu.
