Reservation status

How to get here?

Choose Reservation status from the Setup » Reservations menu.

Item	Description
Description of the available options
New	Click this button to add a new record.
Edit	Click this button to change the details of the selected record.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected record. Note that you cannot delete a record that is in use.
Restore Columns	Right click in the list and choose this option from the menu to restore the column order and size to the default settings.

Item	Description
Description of the available fields
Room type	Select 'Standard room' or 'Conference room' or 'Allotment'. It is possible to have certain Room statuses for certain room types.
Status	4PM To be manually released at 16:00h 6PM To be manually released at 18:00h Assigned This is supposed to be used only after assigning a room to a reservation to implement that the room cannot be moved. Please note: when you create a status 'Assigned' create one for a guaranteed reservations and a separate one for 6PM releases. Definitive Use this status for guaranteed reservations (to be charged if the do not arrive) Waiting list To be used for 'Waiting list' Please note: reservations with this status are NOT deducted from availability! Option For reservations held by the hotel until a certain date (Option date)
Code	A numeric or alpha numeric code of up to 12 characters. This code will be selected in the reservation.
Description	A description of up to 25 characters that can be entered in multiple languages. The description can be printed on reports.
Guarantee	No guarantee No guaranteed reservation, can not be charged in case of non-arrival. To be released at 4PM or 6PM. Credit Card guaranteed Guaranteed by a valid credit card (entered in the reservation. Credit card number is checked by LUN check, expiry date must be at least the month of departure) Guaranteed to agent Guaranteed to travel agent. A travel agent must be entered in the reservation! Guaranteed to inn Guaranteed by the property (hotel)!
Deposit policy	Deposit required A deposit amount required and a deposit date has to be entered in the deposit tab. Deposit paid A deposit amount has to be paid in the deposit tab.
