Currencies

Currencies have the following functions in Amadeus - PM PRO | POS+:

1. All amounts entered into Amadeus - PM PRO | POS+ are amounts calculated with the currencies of the system.
2. When posting a payment, the amount is multiplied with the exchange rate of the system currency.
3. The preparation of a second currency for information reasons. It is possible to print the guest check with the prices of the articles and the totals displayed in both system currency and second currency.

If the system currency participates is the Euro currency, the exchange rates of currencies participating in the Euro should be used anymore, as the Euro has been introduced now. The exchange rates for currencies not participating in the Euro can be changed individually.

If the system currency does not participate in the Euro, all exchange rates can be defined individually.

Usually Amadeus - PM PRO | POS+ is being delivered with the commonly used currencies. The addition of further currencies is possible.

Description

Description of currency. This field should not be changed.

Decimals

Decimals of currency. This field should not be changed.

Participates in Euro

Old setting to change a currency over to Euro. Not in use anymore.

Exchange rate

The exchange rate of the currency. This field may be changed under certain conditions ( see above ).
