Price levels

Price levels are used if the same article is to be charged at different prices. The price of a beer on the terrace or the price of a cup of coffee in catering may differ from normally charged the price in the restaurant.

You can change the price level in three ways:

1. Manually, when you change into another price level before posting.
2. Automatically through the price schedule.
3. Automatically, when a table number is entered, which belongs to a location with a different price level.

Price level

Number of the price level. The maximum number of price levels is 5, while at least price level number one has to be defined.

Description

Description of the price level.

Calc. Expression

With the help of this field the prices of this price level can be changed.
Example: LEVEL1+0.50 will replace all prices of this price level (3) with the price level1 and will add 0.50 to it.
Or: LEVEL3*1.10 will replace all prices of this price level (3) multiplied by 1.1 (plus 10%).

Take out VAT

If the parameter 'Take out VAT' is activated, the VAT group defined as 'Take out VAT' (Take away) will be used for posted articles.
