Sort groups are used to print the articles on the guest check or the order ticket in a certain order. On the guest check all articles with the same number and the same price are summarized in one line. With the sort groups you cause the starters to be printed first, then the main courses, then the desserts, and the drinks will be printed last. Through this you get clearly arranged guest checks and order tickets for the kitchen and the buffet.
To have the items ordered, in the parameters of the printer form the field 'sort' has to be activated. If this field is not activated, the articles will not be summarized and each posting will be printed in one separate line.
Sort group 99 has a special function: articles with this sort group take over the sort group of the article previously posted.
