Spillage reasons

With the help of spillage reasons posted articles can be taken of a bill by previously defined reasons, for example 'Spillage', 'Personal Use' or 'Representation'. With this the price of the posted articles is set to 0.00, but the amount of the sold article stays the same. The average sales price for this article will be decreased.

When you define the screen keys in the screen for spillage reasons, you can allow the spillage on three levels:

1. 'Spillage line', where you can deduct spillage from the selected article.
2. 'Spillage order', where you can deduct spillage from the whole order.
3. 'Spillage check', where you can deduct spillage from the whole guest check.

To undo a mistakenly deducted spillage, you have to generate a identical screen key like the spillage key, but in the field function the parameter 'Undo' has to be filled in. The deducted spillage can be made undone then ( within in the three levels previously mentioned ) and the originally posted price will be restored.

When calling the report 'Articles total' you have an option to call the report by spillage reasons only, which will show you the total amount of the selected spillage reason.
