The IHG CRS interface for Amadeus - PMPRO PMpro is a two way interface, which uses a web server to communicate with IHG CRS. The interface includes the following functionality:
Reservation up and download: the interface downloads new, changed and cancelled room reservations from IHG CRS. Group reservation are not downloaded.
Convention/Groups: up- and download convention/groups (in PMPRO they are called "Allotments").
Rate download: rates configured in IHG CRS are automatically downloaded into PMPRO.
Real time availability: when you make a reservation, PMPRO retrieves rates and availability from IHG CRS in real time.
Number validation: validation of IHG Rewards numbers, alliance numbers, corporate account numbers and IATA numbers.
Detailed Check-Out File Transmission: the detailed check-out (DCO) file contains data that is used for the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) loyalty and Travel Agent Commission Programs. This file is automatically uploaded transmitted to an FTP server of IHG as a part of the night audit process.
Revenue and Occupancy File Transmission: the revenue and occupancy file contains data that is used by the IHG Finance group to generate monthly franchise fee billing invoices. This file is transmitted to an FTP server of IHG as a part of the night audit process.
E-folio: the system allows for upload of electronic folio's.
IHG Rewards enrollment: PMPRO provides an option to enroll guests into the IHG Rewards member system.
A running IHG CRS interface is indicated with a blue Amadeus interface icon next to the time in the Windows system tray on the computer on which the interface is installed. This is usually on the file server. Right click on the interface icon to open the status window.
If the interface is not running, a flashing !!! CRS Interface not responding !!! warning will be displayed in the PMPRO caption. You will need to re-start the interface in order to receive or send messages from IHG CRS again!
