Services (Fixed charges)

A Services tab page is available in the reservation window, allowing you to specify additional services which must be posted to the folio during the stay. Charges for the additional services are posted to the folio during the night audit.

How to get here?

Select the reservation, choose [Edit] and activate the Services tab page.

User field 1..3

A maximum of three user definable fields are displayed. User fields can be enabled on the reservation tab page in the preferences.

Available options

New

Choose the [New] button to add a service.
Edit

Choose the [Edit] button to change the details of the selected service.
Delete

Choose the [Delete] button to delete the selected service.

Field description

Date

Enter the date on which the additional service must be posted. You can only enter a date that is a part of the guests stay. Leave the date empty if the additional service must be charged for each night of the stay (e.g. for tourist tax, pet surcharge etc.).
Product

Specify the product or services number.
Description

Used to display description of the specified product.
Quantity

Enter the number of items that should be charged.
Price

Enter the unit price of the additional charge. The default product price will be entered automatically. The charge that will be posted during the night audit will be Quantity * Price.
From /To

Enter the period during which the product is to be charged automatically. If the product is to be charged during the whole stay, leave these fields empty, then it will be charged also, if the reservation is extended.

Note. Fixed charges entered in a multi room reservation (more then one room in a single reservation line) will be used for each individual reservation.
