Banqueting Reservations training video (Video timings)
The room rack is a graphical overview of all rooms and reservations.
Rooms without a reservation are displayed without a name.
Rooms with a reservation are displayed with the name of the (main) guest.
Reservations to which no room has been assigned, are displayed per room type at the end of the list.
Out of order rooms are indicated with a yellow block with an "OOO" indication and the out of order reason.
Choose the Room Rack option in the Reservations menu.
Press [CTRL] + [F6] on your keyboard.

Date |
Enter the start date from which you would like to view the room rack (default is Brilliants business date). |
Days |
Enter the number of days for which you would like to see the room plan (default is seven days). |
Display small columns |
This will enable you to see a period of 90 days in the room plan. |
Display legend |
Will display the explanation of colours and icons at the bottom of the screen. |
Search |
Click here to start the search |
Close |
Click this button to close the window. |

To undo a check in, a cancellation or a deletion. A check out can only be undone in F8 or F12 window. |

You may move around by either pressing the [PageUp], [PageDown] and [Arrow] keys on your key board or by clicking your mouse on another spot.
The guest name of the first reservation is displayed right after the room set up .
A reservation is displayed with the room setup (conference status) the guest name or company name and the number of adults/children.
To give a room change, you can
Drag and drop a reservation to another room.
Select a reservation, choose Cut [CTRL] + [X], select another room then choose Paste [CTRL] + [V].
Choose [Edit] to open the reservation window, then change the room number.
The conference day plan is a graphical overview of all conference rooms
in your property. The view displays all rooms on a daily basis. The conference
day plan offers exactly the same functionality as the rooms
week plan. The only differences are:
The conference room plan only displays conference rooms.
The conference room plan displays rooms for only one day with an hourly interval.
Depending on the parameter Ctrl+F2 show group name first on the banquet page in the parameters, the name displayed in a reservation is either the company or guest name + number of adults/children OR the group name + number of adults + children.
You can only search per room or by reservation date.
An extra button Picture is available, to view a picture of the selected room. The picture must be in a bit map format, located in the \PMS\picture directory. The file name must be specified in the room number definition.
You can link conference bookings to new allotments to have both room and conference reservations in the same event with the same event number! Allotments and Conference booking reservations
