Batch Codes

Batches are used to print multiple reports with just one click of the mouse. Batches can be printed from the Batches option in the Reports menu. To create a batch, you first need to create batch codes with a description. After the code has been created you add the batch code to all reports that should be printed in that batch.

Click this button to add a new record.

Click this button to delete the selected record. Note that you cannot delete a record that is in use.

Click this button to insert or remove reports from this batch.

Description of the available fields

Code

A unique code up to three characters

Warning!Do not change the code once the code has already been used in a report. Reports with an incorrect or not existing batch code will not be printed in the batch.

Description

A description of up to 25 characters. The description is displayed in the Batches menu. Enter the description field and press the arrow down key on the key board to enter a description in multiple languages.

email address

An email address which the batch reports can be mailed to

Join

If this field is ticked and the batch is started by the 'Send' Button, all reports will be printed as ONE PDF-file. If it is not ticked, they will be printed as individual PDF-files.

Tip.During installation, the following batches are pre-loaded: Fire alarms reports, Pre-audit reports, Post-audit reports, Shift end reports and Morning reports. Click here to download a complete listing into Microsoft Word(pad) format and save the file to your computer. This allows you to modify it according to your specific requirements.

Search fields are 'Report group', 'Report ID', 'Description' and 'Report form'.

Once the report is selected the dialog fields will open that entries can be saved (see 'Edit' section)

Edit

Click this button to change the details and the dialog of the selected record.

Please note that dates can be entered as g_sysdate plus or minus a certain amount of days:

g_sysdate is the hotel date, g_sysdate-1 means yesterday, g_sysdate + 1 means tomorrow.

 

Delete

Click this button to delete the selected record.

If the report should only be printed in certain conditions, you can enter the condition in here  Examples.

Sort order

The sort order of this report (if the report has different sort orders available).

Sequence

Sequence of the reports to be generated

Export to XLS

If activated this report will be sent as XLS file instead of PDF format.
