Menu's

Menu's are predefined text entries which can automatically be copied to the note field of a reserved banqueting item. After copying, you are of course still able to make minor changes according to the guest's wishes. Although this option is originally intended to provide an actual menu description, you can also use it to predefine frequently used sentences that are normally written in the conference planning, such as "Arrival, registration and welcome...".

How to get here?

Choose Menu's from the Setup » Conference menu.

Available options

Item	Description
Description of the available options
New	Click this button to add a new record.
Edit	Click this button to change the details of the selected record.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected record. Note that you cannot delete a record that is in use.
Copy	Click this button to copy the selected record.

Detailed description

Item	Description
Description of the available fields
Code	An alphanumeric code of up to 3 characters. The code must be unique. It cannot be changed once it has been saved.
Description	A description of up to 25 characters that can be entered in multiple languages. The description can be printed on reports.
Details	A note field of unlimited size in which you can enter the predefined text. The text you enter here will be copied to the reservation when you add the menu to the banqueting details. Note that changing the text does not affect the text that has been copied into existing reservations.
