This option is only available when the in-between backup has been enabled
in the Compress
Preferences.The in-between backup is a tool that allows you to quickly create a backup of Brilliant, without having to log off from Brilliant. It is recommended to use this option after the end of every shift or even after a busy check-in or check-out. This to ensure that you have a more recent backup than the latest tape backup in case of unexpected system failure or events.
Choose Copy & Compress from the Tools menu.
Press [CTRL] + [F11] on your keyboard.
This option is only available when the in-between backup has been enabled
in the Compress
Preferences.
The in-between backup may take 1 to 30 minutes, depending on your hardware, the configuration and the size of all files. A small window in the top right corner will display the progress while the backup is being made. This indicator disappears once the backup is ready.
The
Copy & Compress ( backup) is an additional
security backup. It does NOT replace
the importance and need for an external
backup system!
