Article types

With the help of article types special functions in Amadeus - PM PRO | POS+ are connected to the articles. There are the following 3 article types:

1. Compound

   Compound articles are articles, which are posted to the bill, but the revenue is splitted to two or more other articles. This can be used for Menues or Cocktails.

2. Internal
   
   This is used if this article is NOT supposed to go into revenue, but is used as an internal transfer article.
   
3. Paid out

   Used to charge paid outs, like money for a cigarette vending machine or tips. Not in use in most countries as this is automatically deducted from the Cash the waiter has to hand in.

4. Revenue

   Standard article type for sales.

5. Table d'hote
   
   This will open the predefined screen of the choice menu/Table d'Hote

6. Ticket text
   
   This is a function to add certain text onto a ticket. Can only be used if a revenue article has been posted before, text will be added to this article, similar to Modifiers.
