IHG CRS reservation

How to get here?

• There are several options to create a new reservation:

• • Press [Ctrl] + [F7] on your keyboard or

  • Choose the New option from the Reservations menu or

  • Choose New from the Reservations List or

  • Choose Reservation from the Available Room Type screen

• 
• Choose Reservation type: Reservation for CRS room type
• Click [OK]

Available options

The following details are available in the IHG CRS Interface Reservation window:

• Guest

  This field allows the guest name to be selected from the existing addresses in PMPRO.

• Company

  This field allows the company to be selected from existing addresses In PMPRO.

• Frequent Flyer type

  This field allows a valid Frequent Flyer Code to be selected from a drown down. This is an optional field.

• Frequent Flyer number

  This field allows an Alliance Number to be entered. As with other screens, the address shall be presented and if the address from HOLIDEX Plus is accepted by the user, the existing Contact will be updated.  If no contact exists, a new one will be created.  If the number is not found in HOLIDEX Plus, an error message will be returned. This is an optional field.

• IHG Rewards Number

  This field allows a IHG Rewards member number to be entered. As with other screens, the address shall be presented and if the address from HOLIDEX Plus is accepted by the user, the existing Contact will be updated.  If no contact exists, a new one will be created.  If the number is not found in HOLIDEX Plus, an error message will be returned. This is an optional field.

• Arrival

  This field allows current business date or any date in the future up to 350 days in advance.  With the calendar button you can select the date from the calender This is a required field.

• Nights

  This field allows a number up to 99 to be entered.  Currently HOLIDEX Plus reservations are limited to 99 nights. This is a required field.

• Departure

  This field is calculated based on the Arrival Date and Number of Nights. Conversely the Number of Nights will be calculated.

  Based on the Arrival date and the Number of Nights this field may not exceed 350 days in advance of the current business date.  If the departure date exceeds 350 days from the current date, an error will be returned.  When the error is cleared, the field shall be cleared. This is a required field.

• Allotments

  This field allows existing group codes to be selected from the Allotments. This is an optional field, but required for Group reservations.

• Rooms

  This field allows the number of rooms requested to be entered. This is a required field.

• Rate Category

  This field allows Rate Categories existing in Amadeus - PMPRO to be entered or selected. This is a required field.

• Adults

  This field allows the number of rooms requested to be entered. This is a required field.

• Room Type

  This field allows a valid Room Type to be entered or selected. Room type selected will display as first room type with the Rate Categories. This is an optional field.

The Availability screen is displayed and from this screen the Rate Category and Room type can be selected. Data is selected and updated in the reservation screen.

Changes received from IHG CRS after the reservation is checked in (IN), checked out (OUT) or cancelled (CXL, DEL, NS) will be ignored by Brilliant.
