Edit Reservation Details

To edit a reservation

1. Open one of the following windows:

   • Reservation Query

   • Arrivals

   • In house guests Query

   • Departure Query

   • Folio Query

   • Room Plan

2. Search and select the reservation you would like to edit.

3. Choose [Edit]. The reservation window opens.

4. Make the required changes and choose [OK]. Choose [Cancel] if you would like to disregard the changes you have made.

Choose the last reservation option from the reservation menu to re-open the reservation you have used last.

Reservation messages

• The total number of persons exceeds the maximum allowed on CRS for this room type!

  This message appears when you enter more persons (adults + children) in a reservation then the total number of persons that is allowed for the specified room type. If this error occurs you can:

  • Decrease the number of persons to the number allowed or

  • Choose a different room type that can house more guests.

  To prevent the CRS from rejecting the reservation, you cannot save and close the reservation when the number of persons exceeds the maximum allowed.

  This message also occurs when you try to save the reservation while you did not specify a room type yet, or did not complete a required field.  Click [OK] and complete the required fields displayed in red.

• Record is in use on another workstation and can not be locked!

  This message appears if you try to edit a reservation that is in use on another workstation.

  1. Choose [OK] to close the message.

  2. Close the reservation on the other workstation.

  3. You now have access to that reservation again from your own workstation.

• • The arrival date if the reservation is checked in

  • The departure date if the reservation is checked out

  • The reservation details if the reservation was set to No show or was cancelled
