Banqueting Block Groups

A banqueting block group is used to group multiple banqueting blocks together, allowing you to easily drill down to find the block you would like to add to the banqueting section of a conference reservation. An example would be food, beverage or equipment. A more detailed configuration example is provided on the Banqueting Configuration page.

How to get here?

Choose Banqueting Block Groups from the Setup » Conference menu.

Detailed description

Item	Description
Description of the available options
New	Click this button to add a new record.
Edit	Click this button to change the details of the selected record.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected record. Note that you cannot delete a record that is in use.

Field description

Field	Description
Code	An alphanumeric code of up to 3 characters. The code must be unique. It cannot be changed once it has been saved.
Description	A description of up to 25 characters that can be entered in multiple languages. The description can be printed on reports.
Sequence	The sequence determines the order in which the block groups are being displayed in the drill down menu's.
