Deposit Policy

In Amadeus - PMPRO you can set up deposit policies for the different pay methods and link these to your rate codes. When you make a reservation with a rate code that has a deposit policy attached to it, Amadeus - PMPRO automatically selects the applicable pay method and calculates the deposit(s) for you.

How to get here?

Choose Pay Methods from the Setup » Financial menu, select a pay method and click [Deposit].

Field description

Field	Description	Note
Use as deposit	Tick this box to be able to link the deposit policy to a rate code
First Deposit Data
Percentage of the total	A numeric field of up to 3 numeric characters + 2 decimal characters. Enter the percentage of the total rate of the stay you want to receive as an advanced payment or deposit.
Number of days	A numeric field of up to 3 characters. Enter the number of days you want to receive the deposit by either before arrival or after reservation.
Before arrival	Select if you want to receive the deposit x number of days before arrival.
After reservation	Select if you want to receive the deposit x number of days after the reservation has been made.
Second Deposit Data
Percentage of the total	A numeric field of up to 3 numeric characters + 2 decimal characters. Enter the percentage of the total rate of the stay you want to receive as a second advanced payment or deposit.	The system does not allow the sum of the first and second deposit percentages to be more than 100%.
Number of days	A numeric field of up to 3 characters. Enter the number of days you want to receive the second deposit by either before arrival or after reservation.
Before arrival	Select if you want to receive the second deposit x number of days before arrival.
After reservation	Select if you want to receive the second deposit x number of days after the reservation has been made.

OK	Saves and closes the screen
Cancel	Closes the screen without saving
