New Reservation

This option allows you to create a new reservation.

To create a new reservation

Amadeus - PMPRO offers many ways to create a new reservation, for example:

• Choose the [Reservation] button in the rate code or room type availability (recommended).

• Press [CTRL] + [F7] on your keyboard.

• Click the New Reservations button (displayed above).

• Choose the New option in the Reservations menu.

• In the room rack, choose the [New] option in the context menu or press [Ins] on your keyboard.

• In the reservation list, choose the [New] button or press [Ins] on your keyboard.

• In the group reservations list, choose the [Pick Up] button to pick up a room from the selected group.

Reservation messages

• The total number of persons exceeds the maximum allowed on CRS for this room type!

  This message appears when you enter more persons (adults + children) in a reservation then the total number of persons that is allowed for the specified room type. If this error occurs you can:

  • Decrease the number of persons to the number allowed or

  • Choose a different room type that can house more guests.

  To prevent the CRS from rejecting the reservation, you cannot save and close the reservation when the number of persons exceeds the maximum allowed.

  This message also occurs when you try to save the reservation while you did not specify a room type yet, or did not complete a required field.  Click [OK] and complete the required fields displayed in red.

More information

The reservation window appears after you have chosen for one of the above mentioned options. The reservation window will be closed when you save or cancel the new reservation and you return to the previous window.
