Banqueting Subcategories

Banqueting categories, subcategories and item groups are used to logically group banqueting items together, allowing you to easily drill down to find the items you would like to add to the banqueting section of a conference reservation.

Banqueting subcategories form the second level of grouping banqueting items. Therefore each banqueting subcategory is linked to a banqueting category. For example, the category Beverage could contain subcategories Soft drinks, Beer and Wine. A more detailed configuration example is provided on the Banqueting Configuration page.

How to get here?

Choose Banqueting Subcategories from the Setup » Conference menu.

Item	Description
Description of the available options
New	Click this button to add a new record.
Edit	Click this button to change the details of the selected record.
Delete	Click this button to delete the selected record. Note that you cannot delete a record that is in use.
Restore Columns	Right click in the list and choose this option from the menu to restore the column order and size to the default settings.

Description	A description of up to 50 characters that can be entered in multiple languages.
Category	Specifies the category to which the subcategory is linked to.
Sequence	The sequence determines the order in which the subcategories are being displayed.
