PMPRO allows you to assign features, also called 'special requests' to a reservation. There are two types of features:

Code

A unique code up to three characters. The code is used to assign features to room numbers, contacts and reservations.

Description

A description of up to 25 characters that can be entered in multiple languages. The description can be printed on reports.

CRS Service Code

Use this field to link IHG CRS service codes to PMPRO features. Use this when for example the code for the 'City View' feature in PMPRO is CTY, while the equivalent IHG CRS service code is CV.

  • Only IHG CRS service codes which are applicable to your property should be linked to features in PMPRO.

  • You do not need to specify a CRS service code for features that do not exist on IHG CRS.

  • Even when both systems use the same code (e.g. both are CV), you should still specify the CRS service code.

  • It is possible to use different codes in each system, however, it is strongly recommended to use the same codes as this makes it easier to balance the two systems with each other.

  • A correct mapping of service codes assists you in properly assigning rooms.
